ALMAMISS teeth can be used for different kinds of prosthetic dentures. Their three - layer structure, differentiated surface of dentin, enamel transparency and luminosity of anterior teeth ensure that ALMAMISS teeth perfectly imitate natural ones. The cusps of posterior teeth have been shaped to ensure anatomical multipoint occlusion. Thanks to the new enamel formula based on double cross - linked IPN-type polymers and to the enhancement of the mechanical properties of the dentin, ALMAMISS teeth are highly abrasion - and impact - resistant. By carefully controlling the degree of cross - linking in the tooth structure, we ensure that ALMAMISS teeth are characterised by excellent adhesion to the denture and that they maintain excellent interlaminar adhesion as well. ALMAMISS teeth are manufactured in 26 moulds in universal V shades (A1-D4) and in 9 moulds in two bleached shades OM1 and OM3.
Almamiss teeth are sold also in individual anterior and posterior sets (6 or 8 teeth respectively).
ALMAMISS acrylic teeth have been designed for use in all types of prosthetic dentures. The teeth consist of three layers (neck, dentine and enamel), imitating the structure of natural teeth and like the natural ones have a fluorescent effect. ALMAMISS anterior teeth have differentiated final surface with transparent and luminous enamel. The posterior teeth have true anatomic features and the design of their cusps enables multipoint contact. Thanks to the new enamel formula based on double cross-linked IPN type polymers and to the enhancement of mechanical properties of the dentin, ALMAMISS teeth are highly abrasion and impact resistant. They are manufactured in all universal V shades (A1-D4). In order to ensure a good bonding of the tooth to the denture base ALMAMISS posteriors have a deep transversal relief. In case of grounding down of this relief making of deep retention is recommended to provide a good bonding of the dentin which is very hard to the denture base. Before setting the teeth in the denture plate any wax residues should be removed with boiling water and the teeth degreased with an acrylic monomer. The teeth can withstand temperatures of up to 100°C and after the polymerization process bonding them with the denture plate they retain a glossy surface, which can be easily polished.
ALMAMISS teeth meet the requirements of the international standards EN ISO 22112 and EN ISO 7491. There is a potential hazard, however, in breathing in the dust by the technician during grinding or polishing work. It is therefore recommended that a suitable extraction system is used and a dust mask worn during such work.
ALMAMISS teeth should be stored in their original packaging in a clean, dry place away from the sunlight or a source of heat. They must be used within 10 years from the date of manufacture mainly due to possible deterioration of the packaging.
The manufacturer recommends that the following guidelines be included among the instructions for the patient:
