Data and packaging

WIEDENT ESTETIC acrylic teeth can be used in different kinds of prosthetic dentures: removable entire and partial ones fixed ones and to face crowns. Thanks to top grade highly cross-linked acrylics used for their production they characterize with enhancement of the mechanical properties are highly abrasion and impact resistance. As like natural ones they have fluorescent effect and anatomical shapes. They are offered in two shade scales, universal V (16 shades) A1-D4 and WIEDENT one (13 shades) A1-R5. They are produced in 62 different moulds among which very small anterior ones dedicated for pedodontic purposes can be find. For patients with bleached teeth we offer very pale ones in two bleached shades OM1 and OM3 in 14 different moulds respectively.

Packaging:

  1. Anterior teeth:
    • big individual box - 108 pcs (18 sets of 6 teeth in one shape and shade),
    • small individual box - 48 pcs (8 sets of 6 teeth in one shape and shade) only for a special demand.
  2. Posterior teeth:
    • big individual box - 96 pcs (12 sets of 8 teeth in one shape and shade),

Instruction, order form and mould chart

WIEDENT Estetic acrylic teeth have been designed for use in all types of prosthetic dentures. Thanks to our many years of experience in teeth design and manufacture we were able to make a product perfectly imitating natural teeth. Our extensive range enables meeting all patient's needs both in terms of shape and shade.

WIEDENT Estetic teeth, like the natural teeth, have a fluorescent effect. They are manufactured in several dozen anterior and posterior moulds in universal V shades (A1 - D4). The teeth are made of three layers (neck, dentine and enamel) mimicking the structure of natural teeth. The neck layer is the softest one as it needs to accommodate any flexing and ensure strong bonding with the denture plate. The hardest layer is the outer enamel. Its hardness is similar to that of nat ural teeth. Adhesion with the denture plate is enhanced further thanks to a transverse groove at the bottom of each of the posteriors. Should this groove need to be ground down then denture retention is recommended. Before setting the teeth in the denture plate any wax residues should be removed with boiling water and the teeth degreased wit h an acrylic monomer. The teeth can withstand temperatures of up to 100°C and after the polimerization process bonding them with the denture plate they retain a glossy surface, which can be easily polished.

WIEDENT Estetic teeth meet the requirements of the international standards EN ISO 22112 and EN ISO 7491. There is a potential hazard, however, in breathing in the dust by the technician during grinding or polishing work. It is therefore recommended that a suitable extraction system is used and a dust mask worn during such work.

WIEDENT Estetic teeth should be stored in their original packaging in a clean, dry place away from the sunlight or a source of heat. They should be used within ten years from the date of manufacture mainly due to possible deterioration of the packaging.

The manufacturer recommends that the following guidelines be included among the instructions for the patient:

  • Acrylic teeth dentures should be cleaned with a tooth brush using an ordinary tooth paste or other substances specially formulated for denture cleansing.
  • Damaged dentures should only be repaired by a suitably qualified person (dentist, dental technician or a denturist).
  • In order to avoid any damage to its surface dentures should not be immersed in any strongly alkaline or acidic substances.
  • Patients are advised to have their prosthetic dentures checked periodically by a dentist.
